Borosil's Bold Move: Rs 60 Cr to Supercharge Glassware Production

Borosil Scientific has announced a strategic capital expenditure of Rs 60 crore to significantly scale up its glassware manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat. Financed through a mix of internal accruals and borrowings, the expansion will boost the plant's annual production capacity sevenfold to 108 lakh units by March 2027. Operating at a strong 87% capacity utilization due to high demand, the upgraded facility will eliminate supply bottlenecks, optimize supply chain efficiency, and capture key subsidy benefits under the Viksit Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026.
