Caliber Mining & Logistics has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for excavation work at the Jayant Opencast Project in Singrauli.
The contract involves the excavation of 107.553 million bank cubic metres (MBCM) of overburden through mechanical means. The scope includes deployment of heavy mining equipment such as excavators, dumpers, drills, dozers, graders, and water sprinklers. Valued at ₹1,491.87 crore, the project also covers drilling, blasting, loading, transportation, dumping, spreading, dozing, watering, and grading of overburden material.
Issued by Northern Coalfields Limited, the contract has a duration of 27 months and is aimed at improving efficiency in overburden removal to support smoother coal extraction operations.
This order strengthens Caliber Mining & Logistics’ position in India’s mining services and coal logistics sector.
