Chennai Radha Wins Big: Ennore SEZ Mega-Project Secured!

Chennai Radha Engineering Works has been awarded the EPC contract as the lowest bidder (L1) for the 2x660 MW Ennore Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Project in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The project scope includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, fabrication, delivery, transit insurance, unloading, storage, handling, erection, painting, testing, commissioning, and performance guarantee testing of ECHP2 pipe conveyors and pipelines for seawater intake, blowdown, and other utilities from JTB3 to Pier P47 along the MoEF-approved route within the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ).

Additionally, the contract covers civil, electrical, and mechanical works, including service water, potable water, and fire water systems. It also involves structural steel and architectural works, electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, as well as the establishment of an 11 kV power supply to ECHP:1 from North Chennai Thermal Power Station-III (NCTPS:3).
