CIMSME & Servotech: A Solar Synergy for 100,000 Homes

Servotech Renewable Power System and the Chamber of Indian Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (CIMSME) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate the adoption of solar energy in India. Aligned with the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the initiative aims to install 100,000 solar rooftop systems in homes by 2026.

A central component of the project is the launch of a specialized mobile app, developed collaboratively by CIMSME and Servotech. This intuitive platform simplifies the solar adoption journey, including roof inspections, documentation, installations, system monitoring, and subsidy applications. To support this, CIMSME will establish a network of 30,000 individuals across India, operating according to specific PIN codes. This workforce will handle sales, provide on-the-ground support, and oversee installations.

Servotech, with registrations across 62 DISCOMs, will offer comprehensive solar solutions, installing Solar Photovoltaic Generation Systems (SPGS) ranging from 2kW to 10kW, as well as providing ongoing maintenance services to ensure optimal system performance.

Raman Bhatia, Founder and Managing Director of Servotech, shared, "This collaboration and the launch of our mobile app mark a major milestone in making solar energy more accessible to Indian households. By combining Servotech's technical expertise with CIMSME’s broad network, we are empowering communities and advancing India’s path toward a sustainable future."

Mukesh Mohan Gupta, President of CIMSME, expressed his enthusiasm: "We are thrilled to partner with Servotech on this transformative project. In alignment with the Hon'ble Prime Minister’s vision for sustainable development and enhancing the well-being of citizens, this initiative takes a major step towards nation-building. It also promotes key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives, further driving solar adoption across India and ensuring that renewable energy reaches the most remote beneficiaries."
