Crowne Plaza Brand Debuts in Jim Corbett with New IHG Partnership

IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding its premium portfolio in India with the signing of Crowne Plaza Resort Jim Corbett in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, in partnership with Girija Land Ventures.

Set to open in Q1 2027, this marks the debut of the Crowne Plaza brand in Jim Corbett, reinforcing IHG’s presence in key leisure destinations. As one of the world’s largest premium hotel brands, Crowne Plaza caters to both business and leisure travelers. Currently, eight Crowne Plaza hotels operate in India, with eight more in the pipeline.

Strategically located near Jim Corbett National Park—one of India’s most popular wildlife destinations, attracting over 300,000 visitors annually—the 181-room resort is poised to become a sought-after venue for MICE events, weddings, and nature enthusiasts.

The resort will offer four dining options, including an all-day restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a lobby lounge. Guests will also enjoy premium amenities such as banquet halls, meeting venues, a club lounge, a spa, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and retail spaces, ensuring a well-rounded luxury experience.

Its proximity to major attractions like Garjiya Devi Temple and Corbett Falls further enhances its appeal, making it an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.
