CyanConnode Pvt Ltd has achieved a significant milestone by securing its largest-ever contract for the supply of 6.5 million communication modules for smart metering projects across India. This order marks a substantial leap in CyanConnode’s role in the country’s expansive smart metering rollout and underscores its growing influence in the energy sector.
The contract, awarded by a global partner, includes the provision of CyanConnode’s Omnimesh modules, advanced metering infrastructure, and related hardware and software. The agreement also features a perpetual software license and a comprehensive support and maintenance contract. The modules are slated for delivery starting in the second half of FY25, with the installation phase expected to be completed within 27 months. Following installation, CyanConnode will provide support and maintenance for a period of 93 months.
This order nearly doubles CyanConnode's order book for India, boosting it from 6.6 million units to an impressive 13.1 million units.
