Dara Engineering & Infrastructures has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for the significant Chambal-Bhilwara water project. The project, under Package-IV, was tendered by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) of Rajasthan.
With a bid value of Rs 264.60 crore, Dara Engineering will handle the retrofitting of the water supply infrastructure for Phase-II of the Chambal-Bhilwara project. This phase specifically covers the tehsils of Sahada, Raipur, and Suwana in Bhilwara, Rajasthan.
The project is a crucial part of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), aiming to provide safe and adequate drinking water to rural households. Dara Engineering's expertise in infrastructure development played a pivotal role in securing this vital project.
The contract includes an extensive operation and maintenance (O&M) period of 10 years, following a one-year defect liability period. This long-term commitment ensures the project's sustainability and efficiency in the long run.
