Dashrath Prasad Industries planning to set up Cement Unit in Andhra Pradesh

Dashrath Prasad Cement Private Limited Is Planning To Establish A Cement Grinding Unit With A Capacity Of 1500 Tpd By Installing Three Grinding Units On A 2.75 Acre Site In Remalle, Bapulapadu Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh.The proposed project is for the building of a cement grinding unit on 5.89 acres with a production capacity of -1500 TPD. 

The total cost of the project is 45 crores.The Committee noted that the current proposal area is cut out of the fertilizer unit area, i.e., 2.5 acres out of Dasarath Prasad fertilizer unit's 5.89 acres.By displaying 5.89 acres of land, this fertilizer unit acquired a valid CFO from the Board. Without informing the Board, the fertilizer plant leased 2.5 acres of land. As a result, the committee recommended that the proponent reapply after getting the requisite Board approval for leasing the property to the cement grinding unit. The project proponent then requested that the committee withdraw his proposal.

 After reviewing the project proposals, presentations, MoEF&CC's Notifications & OMs, and lengthy debates, the Committee agreed with the project proponent to withdraw his proposal, failing which the proposal may be denied because it lacks clarity regarding land. 

As of September 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
