Diamond Power Secures Rs 185 Cr Adani Transmission Order

Diamond Power Infrastructure has secured a Rs 185.16 crore order from Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) for the supply of AL59 aluminium alloy conductors to support key power transmission projects across India.

Awarded by AESL on behalf of its project special purpose vehicles (SPVs), the contract covers the design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, packing and transportation of AL59 conductors on a Delivery at Place (DAP) basis, including transit insurance. The order includes the supply of around 1,050 km of AL59 Moose conductors for the Tuticorin transmission project and approximately 3,770 km of AL59 Zebra conductors for the Pune-III transmission project. Deliveries are scheduled from July 2026 to February 2027, with delivery locations to be specified by AESL.

The project will strengthen India's power transmission network by supporting efficient power evacuation and improving grid reliability through the deployment of advanced high-performance aluminium alloy conductors.
