Dixon Technologies India has signed a joint venture agreement with Taiwan-based Gemtek Technology Co. to boost the manufacturing of advanced telecom products.
The operations will be housed under Dixon Electroconnect, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, which will hold a 60% majority equity stake upon completion. The newly structured entity will specialize in producing advanced small form-factor transceivers and a broad range of networking solutions. This strategic collaboration leverages Dixon’s massive domestic manufacturing footprint alongside Gemtek's specialized prowess in high-speed optical modules and communication components.
