DLF's Retail Revolution: Two Plazas and Two Mega Malls on the Horizon

Real estate giant DLF is set to strengthen its retail portfolio with the launch of two new neighborhood shopping plazas, strategically located near its residential communities. The initiative is aimed at enhancing convenience and accessibility for residents by offering integrated retail options within walking distance.

The upcoming plazas—Midtown Plaza in Moti Nagar, Delhi, and Summit Plaza in Phase V, Gurugram—are designed to cater to residents of DLF’s premium developments such as Capital Greens and The Crest. These open-air spaces will feature a mix of retail outlets, food courts, hypermarkets, and co-working zones, tailored to meet the evolving lifestyle needs of urban consumers.

Midtown Plaza, adjacent to DLF Capital Greens, will span 200,000 sq. ft., with approximately 75–80% of the space already leased.
Summit Plaza will be significantly larger at 480,000 sq. ft., with over 400,000 sq. ft. allocated to retail and the remainder for flexible co-working spaces. Both plazas are expected to open within the current financial year.

In addition to these neighborhood centers, DLF is also preparing to unveil two flagship malls—Mall of India in Gurugram and Promenade in Goa. The latter is poised to become Goa’s largest mall, offering 700,000 sq. ft. of retail space and more than 300 stores.

With this diversified retail strategy, DLF is positioning itself to meet the growing demand for integrated urban living—where residential, retail, and workspace environments seamlessly converge, and consumer convenience drives decision-making.
