Doubling Down: CNH Industrial’s Massive ₹2,000 Crore Bet on India

Global agricultural and construction equipment leader CNH Industrial has announced a strategic investment of approximately ₹2,000 crore in India by 2030. Half of this commitment—₹1,000 crore—is earmarked for a new greenfield tractor manufacturing facility located at a YEIDA-allotted site along the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. Designed to overcome space constraints at their current facility, the new plant will ultimately double CNH’s tractor production capacity. Its first phase, projected to be operational by mid-2028, will add a capacity of 20,000 tractors. The remaining ₹1,000 crore will be dedicated to advancing research, development, and product innovation for both domestic and international markets. Currently, CNH operates three manufacturing plants and four R&D centers across India, driving its popular CASE and New Holland brands.
