ECR Goes Elevated: KNR Clinches ₹2,163-Crore Contract

KNR Constructions has been awarded a ₹2,163-crore contract for the development of a four-lane elevated corridor along the East Coast Road (ECR), linking Thiruvanmiyur and Uthandi in Chennai.

In a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company stated that the signing of the Concession Agreement remains subject to the outcome of a matter currently pending before the Madras High Court.

The proposed elevated corridor is aimed at easing congestion and enhancing connectivity along the heavily trafficked ECR stretch. The project is expected to be completed within an estimated timeframe of three years.
