Elevating Jaipur: CM Launches ₹450 Cr. Infrastructure Blitz

Jaipur is set for a significant infrastructure boost with development projects worth over ₹450 crore launched by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.

As per the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), approximately ₹320 crore will be directed toward new infrastructure initiatives, while completed projects worth ₹130 crore will be officially inaugurated.

A key highlight is the construction of an elevated corridor from Gopalpura Bypass to Gurjar ki Thadi, designed to reduce congestion in high-traffic zones such as Triveni Circle and Riddhi-Siddhi. This corridor will improve connectivity between densely populated areas like Mansarovar and Vaishali Nagar, and major city arteries including JLN Marg and Tonk Road.

The development plan also includes critical sewerage upgrades in Prithviraj Nagar (South) and Sanganer Zones 2 and 3, as part of the Swarn Vihar STP network. To tackle persistent drainage issues, a new trunk line will be laid in Bambala. Additionally, road strengthening work from Vandemataram Road to Journalist Road Junction is part of the broader citywide infrastructure enhancement strategy.
