Empowering Gujarat with Green Power: KP Energy's 86 MW Wind Milestone

KP Energy has successfully secured a new project from ABREL EPC, a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla group, for the development of a Balance of Plant (BoP) supporting an 86.1 MW wind capacity installation in Gujarat.

Under the terms of the contract, KP Energy will oversee the installation of wind turbine generators (WTG), with each unit being a 2X model. The scope of services provided by the renewable energy company encompasses engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) for the project, with the goal of completing the project within the upcoming financial year.

This venture is part of a larger wind-solar hybrid power initiative, combining 86.1 MW of wind capacity with 65 MW of solar capacity. The integrated plant will be linked to an existing power evacuation facility boasting a 140 MW capacity at the Fulsar pooling substation.

The comprehensive project responsibilities undertaken by KP Energy extend to tasks such as land acquisition, design, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning for the BoP. Additionally, the company is dedicated to securing all necessary approvals and permits essential for the successful implementation of the project.
