Engineering a Healthier India: HSCC and BEL Join Forces

Hospital Services Consultancy Corporation (HSCC) has entered into a strategic partnership with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen India’s healthcare infrastructure.

The collaboration is aimed at accelerating the adoption of indigenous medical devices and digital health technologies, with a strong focus on manufacturing, technology development, consultancy, and long-term support services. HSCC, which has played a key role in executing large-scale healthcare projects such as AIIMS and super-speciality hospitals, will leverage its domain expertise alongside BEL’s advanced electronics and engineering capabilities.

Under the partnership, the two organisations will explore opportunities across medical device manufacturing, healthcare IT solutions, project implementation, and post-deployment maintenance and support. The initiative aligns with India’s self-reliance objectives under programmes such as Make in India and is expected to enhance healthcare access, operational efficiency, and service quality across both urban and non-metro regions.
