Flipkart Boosts Warehousing Capacity by 50% Ahead of Festive Season.

E-commerce giant Flipkart has substantially expanded its supply chain network ahead of the festive season, adding 14 million cubic feet of warehousing capacity—a 50% increase in total storage.

This expansion extends Flipkart's reach to more than 750 new PIN codes, including remote areas such as Leh, Kargil, and various communities throughout the Northeast. To handle increased peak volumes, advanced automation and tech upgrades have boosted processing efficiency by over 30%.

Additionally, Flipkart added over 900 new delivery hubs, bringing Ekart’s nationwide network to more than 8,200 facilities to support same-day and next-day deliveries. The push also includes over 1,000 Flipkart Minutes micro-fulfilment centres spanning 150+ cities.
