GACL Commissions 6.6 MW Hybrid Renewable Power Project

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) announces a major milestone in its sustainability roadmap with the commencement of power supply from the Clean Max Renewable Hybrid Power Project, effective October 29, 2026. GACL has begun receiving an initial capacity of 6.6 MW as part of Phase 1.

Designed to significantly optimize power procurement costs, the project is being executed by Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions via its SPV, Clean Max Sphere Energy. Out of the total sanctioned capacity of 75.9 MW across two phases, the initial output is currently undergoing operational stabilization to ensure grid reliability and steady energy generation. The remaining power allocation across Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be operationalized progressively.
