Gala's Eco-Friendly Expansion in Gujarat

Freudenberg Gala Household Products (FGHP) has expanded its production and office facilities in Adas, Gujarat, to boost its capacity for household cleaning products.

The new 3,086-square-meter production area will manufacture Gala-branded spin mops and foot pedals for the U.S. market, adding over one million spin mops and five million foot pedals to the existing capacity. This facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art machinery and adheres to high sustainability standards. Additionally, the newly built office facility improves overall workspace efficiency.

The Adas site now accounts for 35 percent of FGHP's turnover. FGHP was established in 2009 through a joint venture between Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions and the Mumbai-based Gala Brush. The Adas production site, which began operations in 2011, has since become a significant contributor to the success of the joint venture, representing a key part of its growth and success.
