Going Nuclear: Power Mech Enters Arena with Rs 563 Crore BHEL Project

A regulatory filing shows that Power Mech Projects Ltd. (PMPL) has secured its first building project in the key nuclear power industry. The business announced a Rs 563 crore nuclear power plant order from state-owned BHEL. PMPL's entry into this particular field highlights its rising infrastructure development expertise.

This significant project involves civil, structural, and electrical work. The turbine generator (TG) structure, equipment foundation, chemical laboratory, storage tanks, peripheral drains, and sewage network are notable. The 32-month contract includes a 12-month guarantee period, reflecting the project's size and complexity.

This important order marks PMPL's strategic expansion into nuclear power projects, broadening its portfolio and solidifying its construction industry leadership. PMPL Chairman and Managing Director Sajja Kishore Babu was excited by the company's entry into this area, which might help the nation's sustainable energy aspirations.
