Gujarat's Crown Jewel: JW Marriott Shines Bright with GJHM and Auro Hotels in Surat

Gujarat JHM Hotels (GJHM), in collaboration with U.S.-based Auro Hotels, has entered into a significant hotel management agreement with Marriott International to introduce the prestigious JW Marriott brand to Surat, Gujarat. This marks the third collaboration between GJHM and Marriott International in Surat, following the successful ventures of Surat Marriott Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Surat.

Positioned as an 'urban resort,' the JW Marriott Surat Resort & Spa is set to epitomize a harmonious blend of luxury and contemporary design, promising unparalleled experiences for both domestic and international travelers.

The opulent property is anticipated to showcase over 300 guest rooms and villas, featuring four exquisite dining venues offering a diverse array of cuisines, complemented by the inviting JW Lounge. Among its amenities are an outdoor swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a spa with a salon, and a dedicated kids’ club. Furthermore, the hotel is poised to offer 10,000 sq. ft. of versatile meeting and ballroom space, catering to medium to large-scale events.

The JW Marriott Surat Resort & Spa will be strategically situated within the Earthspace campus, currently home to Auro University, the Sri Aurobindo Integral Life Center, and the Courtyard by Marriott Surat. This development is expected to play a pivotal role in attracting major national conferences and exhibitions to Surat in the near future.

The Earthspace campus, located in Hazira, boasts convenient accessibility, being a mere 20-minute drive from Surat International Airport. Its proximity to the City Centre, as well as Surat's renowned diamond and textile hub, adds to the allure of this upcoming hospitality gem.

In tandem with the hotel project, Auro is actively engaged in the development of the Earthspace Convention Center, sprawling across 1,00,000 sq. ft. This includes a remarkable 42,000 sq. ft. column-free ballroom capable of accommodating approximately 4,200 people in banquet style, further enhancing Surat's appeal for hosting grand conferences and events.
