The Gorantla water tank project, sanctioned at ₹33.53 crore, is 90% complete and is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2025.

To further improve supply to the merged villages, two additional schemes totaling ₹331 crore have been proposed. In Tanuku Municipality, ₹38 crore has been allocated for a water grid and ₹80.11 crore for infrastructure, both targeted for completion by 2027.

Moreover, under AMRUT 2.0, drinking water projects worth ₹420 crore have been sanctioned for Nidadavole, Palakollu, Narasapuram, Bhimavaram, and Akiveedu.

In total, over ₹900 crore is being invested in regional water infrastructure to ensure equitable access and sustainable development across Andhra Pradesh.
