Hadapsar Railway Terminal: 90% Complete, Launching Jan 26

The redevelopment of the Hadapsar railway terminal is now 90% complete, with train operations expected to begin on 26 January 2026.

To ease congestion at Pune Junction, two services—the Hadapsar–Hazur Sahib Nanded Express and the Hadapsar–Harangul Special—will initially be shifted to the new terminal. Construction work is progressing steadily: platforms are 95% complete, the second foot-over bridge is 90% finished, and key passenger amenities, including lifts, escalators, and the new station building, are nearing completion.

Once operational, the terminal will serve as a satellite hub, improving rail connectivity for the region. However, commuters have highlighted the need for better information dissemination and enhanced transport links to ensure a smooth transition to the new facility.
