HFL Chills Out in Nashik with New Ice Cream Plant

Hindustan Foods Ltd (HFL) has launched Phase-1 operations at its new ice cream manufacturing facility in Nashik, Maharashtra—marking a key milestone in the company’s expansion into the ice cream segment. The plant enhances HFL’s capabilities as a leading contract manufacturer, enabling it to serve both established and emerging brands.

The facility is focused on scaling production and stabilizing operations across multiple product categories, aligning with HFL’s strategy to support seasonal spikes and long-term growth in the sector.

Manoj Patani, President of HFL’s Ice Cream Division, shared his optimism: “We’re excited about the momentum in our ice cream business. Urbanization, rising incomes, changing consumer tastes, and the growth of quick commerce are all fueling strong double-digit growth.”

HFL plans to leverage this growth by partnering with a diverse client base, investing in backward integration, and expanding its product range to deliver quality at scale and deepen customer relationships.
