Himachal Calling! IHG Announces Holiday Inn Resort Kufri

IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a management agreement with Siddhya Hotels & Resorts to develop the Holiday Inn Resort Kufri in Himachal Pradesh, set to open in January 2026. This initiative is part of IHG’s strategy to expand its footprint and enhance hospitality experiences in prime vacation destinations.

The Holiday Inn Resort Kufri will offer 100 well-appointed rooms, including 10 exclusive suites. Guests will have access to four dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a destination bar, a pool bar, and a spa, providing a variety of culinary and relaxation experiences.

Located in the scenic town of Kufri, near Shimla, the resort is well-connected by road to major cities like Shimla and Chandigarh, making it easily accessible from North India. The hilltop location will provide panoramic mountain views, aligning with the brand’s commitment to high-quality, reliable, and genuine guest experiences.

The resort will be equipped with numerous amenities, including a fully equipped gym, a pool, and retail spaces. It is designed to cater to independent travelers, MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), and wedding segments, ensuring a comprehensive hospitality experience throughout the year.

For social gatherings and corporate events, Holiday Inn Resort Kufri will feature four meeting and event spaces, including a grand ballroom, making it an ideal venue for special occasions and weddings. This new development underscores IHG’s dedication to offering exceptional hospitality in desirable locations.
