HindEpsilon Composite: The Future Core of India’s Power

French carbon-fiber specialist Epsilon Composite has launched its Indian subsidiary, HindEpsilon Composite, to bolster India’s power grid modernisation initiatives.

Incorporated in October 2025 and headquartered in Chennai, the new entity will focus on producing HVCRC composite core conductors—key components for improving the efficiency, capacity, and resilience of transmission lines. The move supports India’s accelerated electrification drive and aligns with the government’s Make in India vision. Epsilon’s expansion builds on its participation in major reconductoring projects across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Assam.

The company also plans to establish a local manufacturing facility for composite cores and other advanced composite components, aiming to meet the rising demand for high-performance power transmission solutions. With this strategic investment, Epsilon is positioning itself as a significant contributor to India’s power sector and a key market for its global growth trajectory.
