Hitayu's 35,000 Ton Marvel Paves the Way for Karnataka's Agri-Revolution

Hitayu Agro Foods Private Limited is embarking on a transformative venture with its Fruits and Vegetables Manufacturing Unit in Mandya, Karnataka. Boasting a capacity of 35,000 tons per year, this advanced processing facility aims to revolutionize fruit and vegetable processing, packaging, and value-addition, enhancing the region's agricultural potential.

The key features of this ambitious project include the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies for sorting, washing, cutting, freezing, canning, and drying of produce. Additionally, Hitayu Agro Foods plans to produce juices, jams, pickles, frozen fruits, and other innovative products. The project also focuses on implementing eco-friendly waste management practices and creating backward integration opportunities by directly sourcing from local farmers.

Located in Mandya, renowned as the "Fruit Bowl of Karnataka," the unit benefits from abundant local produce, strong infrastructure, and skilled labor in food processing and agriculture. The strategic location facilitates efficient distribution, strengthens ties with major markets, and positions the project to potentially receive government support through subsidies and incentives.

The venture promises increased value for farmers, reduced food waste, boosted export potential, and substantial job creation in Mandya and neighboring areas.
