IFL Enterprises, traditionally focused on the import and export of agricultural commodities, is set to diversify into the green energy and organic waste management sectors. The move aligns with India’s growing emphasis on sustainable development and reflects the company’s strategy to tap into high-growth, future-oriented industries.
As part of its expansion, IFL Enterprises plans to offer contracting services for green energy projects, including the design, construction, and operation of solar and wind power plants. These initiatives aim to support eco-friendly infrastructure development while creating new revenue streams.
The company also plans to enter the organic waste management and recycling space by offering waste-to-energy solutions that convert organic waste into clean energy and reusable by-products—reducing landfill use and mitigating environmental pollution.
“Tapping into Organic Waste Management & Recycling will help IFL Enterprises position itself as a leading player in helping businesses and municipalities manage organic waste,” the company stated. With the waste management sector projected to grow at a CAGR of 10–12% over the next five years, IFL sees strong potential for long-term value creation.
A detailed feasibility assessment is underway to evaluate operational models, capital requirements, and the implementation roadmap for these ventures.
