SJVN has invited bids for the development of 600 MW of ISTS-connected wind power projects across India through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.
Part of the country’s broader clean energy expansion strategy, the initiative aims to boost renewable capacity by attracting cost-efficient proposals, with developers selected based on the lowest tariff offered. Projects will be implemented on a pan-India basis, contributing to national renewable energy targets and supporting carbon emission reduction efforts.
This move aligns with the government's renewable energy roadmap and emphasizes private sector participation to accelerate wind power deployment across states.
Interested bidders must submit their proposals by October 31, 2025.
