Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Limited, along with its wholly-owned material subsidiary Indorama Ventures Yarns Private Limited (IVYPL), has received board approval for a capital expenditure of approximately ₹200 crore. The investment will fund the expansion of specialty filament and fiber production capacity at its manufacturing facility in Butibori, Nagpur. Financed through a mix of internal accruals and term loans, the project is scheduled to achieve commercial operations in over a year. This strategic expansion aims to bolster the company’s presence in high-value synthetic textiles, drive product diversification, and enhance overall market competitiveness.
