Infineum x LSR: Blending the Future of Indian Mobility

Infineum, a global leader in specialty additives, has inaugurated a new blending facility in India, which will be operated by LSR Specialty Oils.

The facility, located in Patalganga, Maharashtra, represents a significant expansion of Infineum’s footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing mobility and energy markets. The development aligns with the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, highlighting the company’s commitment to strengthening local manufacturing and supply capabilities.

Strategically positioned near key manufacturing sites of major oil marketing companies (OMCs), the facility is expected to enhance supply reliability, improve logistics efficiency, and strengthen supply-chain resilience. It has also been designed with future expansion potential, including the possibility of technology hubs and advanced blending capabilities.

The new plant supports India’s broader manufacturing and industrial growth agenda by localising production, promoting skill development, and building technical capabilities in the country. Its inauguration also coincides with Infineum’s updated brand identity, reflecting the company’s focus on enabling cleaner mobility, improved operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
