Infrastructure Boost: Amaravati Lands ₹11,000 Crore HUDCO Deal

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has signed an ₹11,000 crore loan agreement with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) to finance the development of Amaravati, the state’s upcoming greenfield capital.

The agreement was formalized in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Undavalli, Guntur district.

HUDCO’s Board had approved the loan during a meeting in Mumbai in January. This financial support is expected to accelerate Amaravati’s development, facilitating the creation of modern infrastructure and urban amenities in the new capital.
