I&PCL Boosts Defence Footprint with PLR Systems Deal

Investment & Precision Castings Ltd. (I&PCL) has been awarded a strategic contract by PLR Systems for the supply of high-precision investment casting components for defence applications.

PLR Systems, a joint venture between the Adani Group and Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), manufactures cutting-edge small arms including the TAVOR and X95 assault rifles, GALIL sniper rifle, NEGEV light machine gun, and UZI submachine gun—all widely used by the Indian Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces.

“This strategic agreement underscores I&PCL’s expanding footprint in the global defence market and our capability to meet the stringent requirements of mission-critical applications,” said Piyush I. Tamboli, Chairman & Managing Director, I&PCL. “It reflects our advanced manufacturing infrastructure, strong focus on quality, and commitment to supporting the global defence ecosystem.”

I&PCL views this contract as a stepping stone toward a long-term collaboration with PLR Systems, further strengthening its presence in the defence manufacturing sector and contributing to India’s self-reliance in defence production.
