IRB Infrastructure Trust has been declared the successful bidder and has received the Letter of Award (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a major highway project under the Toll-Operate-Transfer (TOT) model.
The project covers the tolling, operation, maintenance, and transfer of three key highway stretches in Uttar Pradesh: the Lucknow–Ayodhya, Ayodhya–Gorakhpur, and Lucknow–Sultanpur sections of NH-28 (New NH-27) and NH-731, spanning a total length of 366.096 km. As part of the agreement, the Trust will pay an upfront concession fee of Rs 9,270 crore to NHAI. The concession period will extend for 20 years, during which revenue will be generated through toll collection and maintenance activities.
IRB Infrastructure Developers will serve as the project manager, overseeing the project's end-to-end operations.
