J Kumar Infraprojects Secures ₹129 Cr Mumbai Metro FOB Contract

J Kumar Infraprojects has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for the construction of foot over bridges (FOBs) at Pant Nagar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, and Vijay Garden Metro Stations along Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A (Package 2).

The contract is valued at ₹129.04 crore, with J Kumar Infraprojects holding a 60% share, amounting to ₹77.42 crore. The project involves the design and construction of pedestrian FOBs aimed at improving commuter safety, easing station access, and enhancing last-mile connectivity.

The work is scheduled to be completed within 15 months from the start date.

This project is expected to ease passenger movement, reduce congestion, and support seamless integration across the metro network. It further solidifies J Kumar Infraprojects’ role in Mumbai’s urban infrastructure development and its expertise in executing complex metro-related civil works in the MMR region.
