Jagdish Gupta Wins ₹509 Crore Irrigation Project in MP

Jagdish Gupta has secured a significant contract, emerging as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major irrigation project in Khargone district, Madhya Pradesh. The project, valued at ₹509 crore, underscores the company’s growing prominence in the infrastructure sector.

The contract involves executing the Shaheed Ilap Singh Lift Micro Irrigation Project on a turnkey basis. This ambitious initiative aims to provide efficient irrigation across 26,890 hectares, benefiting local agriculture by delivering water up to 2.5 hectares per Chak.

The project has been awarded by the Water Resources Department (WRD) of Madhya Pradesh, reflecting the state’s commitment to enhancing its irrigation infrastructure. Jagdish Gupta's selection as the L1 bidder highlights their competitive edge and capability to handle large-scale projects.
