Hyderabad-based investment firm JV Ventures and real estate developer Terminus Group have unveiled plans to create a $200 million (approximately ₹1,680 crore) hospitality development platform named Madison. This venture will focus on establishing and managing mid-market luxury hotels across key cities in India.
The Madison platform will target high-growth locations including Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, and Hyderabad. Over the next five years, it aims to develop 25 hotel properties, offering more than 3,000 keys. Both JV Ventures and Terminus Group will contribute equally to the platform's funding, reflecting their commitment to enhancing India's hospitality landscape.
Madison will be integrated into PowerPod, a thematic living space designed to cater to diverse age groups. This strategic move expands the partners' portfolio beyond their previous focus on life sciences and education sectors, aiming to mitigate operational risks while maintaining hotel ownership concepts.
The initiative underscores the burgeoning hospitality sector in India, driven by rising travel demand and growing investor interest. Madison is poised to become a significant player in the mid-market luxury hotel segment, aligning with current trends in the Indian real estate and hospitality markets.
