Kad Pharmaceutica, a renowned Indian pharmaceutical company, intends to establish a new bulk medicines and intermediates production site in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. The project will cost 9 crores.The project's overall capacity is projected to be 50.1 tonnes per month (TPM). Although the project is still in its early stages, Kad Pharmaceutica has already purchased land for the factory and is in the process of getting the requisite environmental permits. The business plans to begin building on the plant in early 2024 and have it operational by the end of 2025.
The new plant will manufacture antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and cardiovascular medications, among other things. Kad Pharmaceutica intends to export a major amount of the plant's output to its global markets. The expansion project is part of Kad Pharmaceutica's aim to increase its market presence in bulk medicines and intermediates. In addition, the company intends to increase manufacturing capacity for other pharmaceutical products such as formulations and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started the work on the project will be finished in 2024, 2025 or 2026 It has been decided to hire a local contractor.
