Kakda Metals Forges Ahead with INR 105 Crore TMT Bar Unit in Madhya Pradesh

Kakda Metals Private Limited's venture into establishing a TMT Bars Manufacturing Unit in Mandideep, Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, represents a significant investment of INR 105 Crores. With a robust production capacity of 180,000 MT per annum, this initiative aims to utilize state-of-the-art technology, including Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Furnace, Slag Re-melting Furnace, and Continuous Casting Machine (CCM), to produce high-quality TMT bars adhering to BIS standards.

The manufacturing process involves melting steel scrap and billets through EAF technology, refining molten steel via Ladle Furnace and Slag Re-melting Furnace, continuous casting into bars using CCM, followed by thermo-mechanical treatment (TMT) processes and finishing procedures like straightening, cutting, and surface treatment.

Primarily targeting the construction industry, infrastructure projects, and power plants, this project is poised to contribute significantly to the region's development. It promises advanced production methods, eco-friendly practices to minimize emissions and waste, and the potential to generate numerous direct and indirect employment opportunities.
