Kalpataru Wins Big: Secures ₹999 Crore Nagpur Metro Viaduct Contract

Kalpataru Projects International has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major contract involving the construction of elevated viaducts for Phase-II of the Nagpur Metro Rail Project (NMRP). The company’s successful bid, valued at Rs 999 crore, was awarded by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL).

The scope of the project includes constructing elevated viaducts across multiple sections of the NMRP Phase-II. The sections span a total length of approximately 17.647 km: from ch (-) 7577.056 m to ch (-) 13457.046 m in Reach 2B II (5.9 km), from ch 18218.586 m to ch 24633.194 m in Reach 3A (6.414 km), and from ch (-) 289.668 m to ch (-) 5622.577 m in Reach 4A (5.333 km). This expansive work will significantly enhance Nagpur's metro infrastructure, providing improved connectivity and convenience for commuters.
