The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has approved several key proposals, including the capital’s first Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) housing project at Karkardooma, titled “Towering Heights.” The project will offer 1,026 ready-to-launch two-BHK flats, marking a major milestone in Delhi’s push for sustainable, high-density urban development.
In addition, the DDA has cleared plans for the development of world-class sports infrastructure in Narela, which will also function as an education hub. The Authority further approved a change in land use for a 40.23-hectare area under the Land Pooling Policy, making 70% of the land in this sector eligible for development — a significant step forward for the initiative.
The Land Pooling Policy, part of the Master Plan for Delhi–2021, encompasses 138 sectors across six planning zones, aiming to integrate urban villages into a cohesive, well-planned cityscape and promote balanced urban growth.
