Karnal's ₹162 Cr Unity Mall Ramps Up: ODOP Takes Center Stage

The Unity Mall project in Karnal, valued at ₹162.88 crore, is advancing steadily following its environmental clearance.

Situated on a 3.87-acre site along GT Road in Sector 37, the mall will highlight India’s diverse MSME products, with a special focus on the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi lauded the rapid progress of excavation work and stressed the importance of adhering strictly to the construction schedule. He noted the project’s significance, citing Karnal’s growing industrial importance and strategic location within the National Capital Region (NCR).

The mall is set to function not only as a retail space but also as a permanent exhibition centre, B2B networking hub, and tourist attraction, supporting the Union Government’s objectives of promoting indigenous industries and enhancing inter-state trade.
