Infopark Phase III, envisioned as an integrated AI township and a major milestone in Kerala’s digital growth, is expected to draw investments worth ₹25,000 crore and be completed by 2030. The announcement was made by Infopark CEO Susanth Kurunthil and GCDA Chairman K. Chandran Pillai.
The project will span 300 acres in the Kizhakkambalam panchayat, with the master plan slated for completion within a year. A joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Infopark and the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. As per the MoU, GCDA will facilitate land acquisition through pooling, while Infopark will spearhead infrastructure development to create a world-class technology and residential hub.
Designed to power Kerala’s knowledge economy, the township is projected to generate over 2 lakh direct and 4 lakh indirect jobs. It will house IT and ITeS companies alongside schools, hospitals, malls, sports and cultural centres, and extensive green spaces—creating a holistic and sustainable urban ecosystem.
Land pooling will require consent from at least 75% of landowners, and GCDA has begun engagement efforts. Feasibility studies and detailed project reports will be submitted within a year. Infopark will also lead investment promotion and overall project planning.
