Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) has commissioned 307.4 MW of renewable energy capacity at Khavda in Gujarat, taking its total operational renewable portfolio to 17,237.2 MW.
The newly commissioned capacity spans six step-down subsidiaries and comprises a combination of wind, solar, and wind–solar hybrid projects. Commercial operations for these assets are scheduled to commence from 01 January 2026. This milestone forms part of AGEL’s large-scale expansion at Khavda, where the company is developing the world’s largest renewable energy complex, with a targeted capacity of 30,000 MW by 2029.
AGEL’s operational capacity has seen rapid growth over the past year, surpassing 15,539 MW in June 2025 and increasing further to 16,486 MW by September 2025.
In addition to renewable generation, AGEL is strengthening its presence in energy storage, with plans to invest ₹15,000 crore in two pumped storage projects in Assam, supporting grid stability and long-term clean energy integration.
