KMCH Secures Chennai Land: ₹60 Crore Deal with Eaton

The board of Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital (KMCH), a leading healthcare provider based in Coimbatore, has approved the acquisition of approximately 1.11 acres of land and a building in Sholinganallur from MTL Instruments, a division of Eaton.

This strategic acquisition marks KMCH’s expansion into Chennai, where the newly acquired property will support the establishment of a medical facility.

The acquisition, valued at up to ₹60 crore, will be financed through internal accruals and bank loans. Additionally, KMCH’s Board has approved leasing the same property from MTL Instruments at an annual rent of ₹3.6 crore.

Beyond its flagship hospital on Avinashi Road, KMCH operates three peripheral centers in Coimbatore. As a multispecialty hospital, KMCH provides comprehensive healthcare services across various medical disciplines.
