KP Biofuels Plans Grain Distillery & Captive Power in Madhya Pradesh

KP Biofuels Private Limited is thinking of constructing a new grain-based distillery unit facility and a captive power plant at Aliganj, which is located near Raisen, in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

 The total cost of the project was 60.30 Crore.

The kind of this project is a captive power plant. Ethanol production at a rate of 60,000 kilograms per day (KLPD) is the target for this project. 

Grain-based Distillery Unit is the kind of the project. The project intends to produce 1.8 megawatts (MW) of energy in order to satisfy the power needs of its grain-based distillery unit and other industrial units located in the surrounding area.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 70% mark. The work on the project will be finished by January of 2024.
