Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL) has invited bids for the establishment of multiple power substations and associated transmission infrastructure across various locations in Karnataka.
The scope of work includes setting up 2×160 MVA, 220/110 kV and 1×10 MVA, 110/11 kV substations at Baidoddi, along with the associated transmission lines and transformers. It also includes the development of a 2×20 MVA, 110/11 kV substation at Ashapur Road and construction of a 110 kV LILO line; installation of a 2×20 MVA, 110/11 kV substation at Pamanakallur with a corresponding 110 kV LILO line; and establishment of a 2×20 MVA, 110/11 kV substation at Kyadigera.
The total contract value is ₹204.05 crore. The project is intended to strengthen Karnataka’s power distribution network, meet rising electricity demand, and enhance system reliability.
The deadline for bid submission is 16 December 2025.
