The Public Works Department (PWD), Lakshadweep, has invited bids for the development of a nursing and paramedical college in Kavaratti.
The project, valued at approximately ₹120.25 crore, involves the construction of a fully integrated facility, covering civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-fighting systems under a single composite contract. The scope also includes all allied infrastructure required for the college’s operations. The contractor will be expected to complete the project within 24 months from the commencement date.
The tender is open to firms with prior experience in executing large-scale projects such as educational institutions, hospitals, and industrial buildings. The deadline for bid submission is February 13, 2026.
