Log9 Materials is set to significantly boost its lithium-ion cell and battery pack manufacturing capacities, aiming to go from 50 MWh to 1 GWh and 2 GWh, respectively.
The company, having raised $40 million in a recent funding round, is strategically targeting commercial and industrial (C&I) EV segments in India. With a rapid expansion from 40 MWh to 250 MWh in battery pack manufacturing, Log9 aims to optimize costs, enhance technology, and broaden its portfolio, focusing on two, three, and four-wheelers, as well as industrial equipment. The company is making strides in commercial utility spaces, including food and e-commerce delivery for two-wheelers and cargo vehicles for four-wheelers
