Logistics Leader: Horizon's 60M Sq. Ft. Industrial Juggernaut

Horizon Industrial Parks, backed by Blackstone, has rapidly emerged as one of South India’s largest industrial and logistics developers, with a nationwide footprint of 60 million sq. ft. in operational and developing assets.

Of this, 24 million sq. ft. is concentrated in South India, where the company leads the market, surpassing competitors such as IndoSpace and ESR. Horizon operates 17 industrial parks across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana, covering a total of 940 acres. Its portfolio serves a wide spectrum of industries—from auto components to e-commerce—and includes marquee tenants such as Yazaki India and Schneider Electric.

“The portfolio has been diversified deliberately to cater to both manufacturing-led demand and the needs of logistics operators,” said Urvish Rambhia, CEO. The company’s recent momentum is driven by aggressive expansion in Tamil Nadu, particularly in Chennai, where Horizon has added seven sites in just two years, including in-city logistics parks. Its operating model emphasises standardised design, rapid construction, and efficient, multi-city delivery.
